I'm Greg, from Nottingham. I spend my time checking out the driveway and patio firms round here, the reviews, the guarantees, who actually turns up. Tell me what you're after and I'll put two rated firms on it. They quote free, you pick one or neither, and you never pay me anything.
How it works
- Text me a photo of your drive or garden, your street, and roughly what you want. Resin, block paving, tarmac, a patio, or "not sure" is fine.
- I match it to two firms whose work and reviews I've checked, covering your area. They contact you to book a free quote.
- You deal with them directly on their normal prices. Like a quote, go ahead. Don't, walk away. Nobody chases you.
Why is it free? Fair question.
The firm pays me a small fee if you go ahead with them, the same way they'd pay for advertising. That's the whole business. You pay the firm's normal quoted price, you see their quote before deciding, and you're free to haggle it like anyone else.
What I check before I'll recommend a firm
- Real reviews on Checkatrade, TrustATrader or Google, not just their own website
- A written guarantee on the work, ten years is common for good firms
- Insurance in place and an actual trading history, not a van and a Facebook page from March
- Photos of completed local jobs I can point to
